The National Commission on Educator-Congregational Relations (NCECR) is a joint commission of the Union for Reform Judaism (URJ) and National Association of Temple Educators (NATE). Each institution appoints an equal number of representatives (4) to the commission. The function of the NCECR is to attempt to resolve disputes between educators and their congregations and to recommend preventative measures that will help educators and their congregations function harmoniously together.
